Foxglove/Pinecone at Resort at the Mountain - Opened in 1981, Foxglove is the most challenging of The Three Nines. Forest-lined fairways - some running adjacent to the wild and scenic Salmon River - "Scottish bunkers," and obstacles, including the infamous monolithic boulder on the first hole, push golfers to the limit. Foxglove measures 3,106 yards and plays to par 36. Originally built in 1928, Pine Cone is the 4th oldest course in Oregon and is the longest of The Three Nines. Playing to par 36, it measures 3,299 yards and features dog legs, water hazards and the most elevation changes of The Three Nines. Recent improvements have made this nine more scenic and enjoyable than ever before. Nestled in amongst 300 acres of lush evergreen forests and bordered by the wild and scenic Salmon River, The Three Nines provide a wonderful experience for all types of golfers - from the well-intentioned beginner to the pro. * Equipment rentals, lessons and golf cart rentals are available. * 27 holes * 160 Lodging Rooms * Host Course for the 2004 OGA Net Championship and 2005 Women's Four-Ball Championship * Croquet & Lawn Bowling * Fitness Center * Two seasonal restaurants & lounges.
