Bulldog Rock Trail - The Bulldog Rock Trail passes though meadows, rock outcroppings, and Bullpup Lake and Shelter. It is open for foot, horse, motorcycle and bicycle use and.

Directions:From the North Umpqua Ranger Station, take Highway 138 east 23 miles to Steamboat Creek Road 38. Follow Road 38 for approximately 9 miles to its junction with Road 3817, then take Road 3817 to Road 3850.North Trailhead: Follow Road 3850 about 3.5 miles to Road 3850-300. Proceed on Road 3850-300 another 4 miles to the north trailhead. Trailhead parking at this location does not provide a favorable opportunity for turning around vehicles pulling trailers. Other options for turning around exist nearby.South Trailhead: Follow Road 3850 for 10 miles to its junction with Road 3810. Take Road 3810 2 miles to the Bear Camp Shelter and south trailhead. Parking at this trailhead consists of a loop with a steep entrance from and exit to Road 3810. It is not recommended for vehicles with low ground clearance or those pulling trailers.
