Brandborg Winery - Terry and Sue Brandborg believe they have found the perfect location to grow and make the cool climate wine varieties they adore. After extensive searching they have settled in Elkton, the most northwest and marine influenced region of the Umpqua Valley. In 2002, Brandborg Winery opened in Elkton and planting of the Estate Vineyard began at their ranch 4 miles southwest of town, primarily to Dijon clones of pinot noir. The site, at 750' to 1100', sits above the fog with perfect southern exposures. The diversity of the Umpqua Valley affords the opportunity to grow and make a variety of superlative wines in one of the most beautiful viticultural areas in the world.
