Bobby Lake Trail -
Bobby Lake is 85 acres in size and 71 feet deep. Populations of rainbow and brook trout. This gentle trail passes through lodgepole going to noble fir and mountain hemlock. There is an excellent view of Maiden Peak and Bobby Lake.
This easy walking trail wanders through park-like stands of mountain hemlock. It joins the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail for about 500 feet before it turns off to the right, heading down to Bobby Lake. Grades are easy. The relatively short distance and easy grades makes this an ideal trail for small children. The lake offers fishing, swimming, and several good campsites. The trail continues along the north shore of the lake and into the Deschutes National Forest, coming out on a forest road in the Davis Lake area.
